Heute wuerde ich euch etwas ganz Spezielles zeigen wollen, dummerweise war Herr Harrison der Meinung dass man wenn man das gucken moechte einen Vimeo oder Google Account braeuchte…und ich hoffe instanendig dass ihr ueber eine solche Option verfuegt denn das Teil ist sowohl Zucker fuer die Typographen und Literaten…und haut mal richtig rein:

Heute hab ich ein wirklich wundervolles Stueck Arbeit von Roman De Giuli fuer euch mit bei welches ihn ein Jahr Arbeit gekostet hat und ich ziehe meinen imaginaeren Hut, sooo supernice.
Und es ist vielleicht sogar was fuer die vorbeiziehenden Winterlaemmer (man moege den Begriff bitte nachschlagen, vgl. Glennkill) welche mit Kunst ja so gar nix am Schuh haben und sehr einfach gestrickt sind:

A SENSE OF SCALE is a reminiscense to the famous „Sense of Scale“ documentary by Berton Pierce form 2011. As the documentary, my experimental short film is all about details and the beauty of practical effects. I want to emphasize the meaning of handmade visuals and the effort it takes to stage sceneries on a small scale. I captured very tiny areas of paint flowing on a piece of paper while zooming in the closest possible with a custom lens setup. All shots are taken with my RED DSMC2 in 8K and several macro lenses. It took me around 1 year to finish this piece. Color graded and optimized for HDR devices.

Sanna de Vries hat da in dreieinhalb Minuten ein sehr interessantes Thema bearbeitet und das kann sich wirklich sehen lassen:

Roel Van Beek ist ja schon ein arger Wiederholungstaeter was abgeschwurbelte Metathemata angeht, da koemt er flugs mal mit nem Pudding ums Eck um uns zu zeigen was hier so abgeht und ich liebe es.
Transfer-Potenzial auf das reale Leben ist halt einfach nicht zu unterschaetzen, danke Roel:

Sascha Geddert von der Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg (ja, schon wieder aber die machen halt echt tolles Zeug -und dann noch mit dem Deutschen Orchester Babelsberg) hat da wirklich was Aufregendes geschaffen.
Es ist schon von 2013, und seit diesem Zeitpunkt hatte ich das als Screenshot ganz rechts aussen auf meinem Zweitmonitor -und jetzt wirds mal echt Zeit dafuer; Winter is coming:

In the vastness of space, there’s a a small speck of rock inhabited by the most peculiar lifeforms: Dark little “Globosomes” that start to replicate fast and begin to show signs of intelligence. The film tells the story of the rise and fall of these little creatures.

This film is inspired by the special times we’re living in on our own planet. We’re ourselves at the crossroads: Rise to our true calling and explore the universe or perish from the face of a dirty planet. Surely we have culture, science and art but what does remains of these achievements, if you look at our world from a global perspective.

Heute hab ich euch einen Short von Claude Cloutier mitgebracht (wie immer von exquisiter zeichnerischer Qualitaet), ist zwar schon etwas aelter aber jetzt kann ich dann den Tab auch mal zumachen welchen ich seit 2007 offen hab:

In this animated short, Sleeping Betty is stuck in bed, victim to a strange bout of narcolepsy. The King calls on his subjects to rescue her and they all respond to the call: Uncle Henry VIII, Aunt Victoria, an oddly emotional alien, a funky witch and a handsome prince. But will a kiss really be enough to wake the sleeping princess? The film, drawn in ink, is a classic example of the anachronistic and playful world of Claude Cloutier.
